Muscatine Maid-Rite in Muscatine, Iowa, is the home of the original loose meat sandwich. We have old fashioned, hand-dipped shakes & malts, breaded tenderloins, and sandwiches. Serving the Muscatine area since 1926, we also offer 1919 Draft Root Beer, and specials such as 10% off for Seniors 55 and older on Wednesdays. I have driven from Detroit to eat at this Muscatine Maid-Rite because it is, by far, the very best location, PERIOD! I order mine "wet" or extra juicy with everything on them and they are without a doubt best described as "heavenly." Not much on this planet can compete with a Muscatine Maid-Rite...they are THAT spectacular! The 1919 Root Beer is also just incredible! The onion rings and corn clusters are must haves. The service and staff are top notch, kind, fast, and very helpful. I just love EVERYTHING about this location. I drove nearly 500 miles to get here for business and the very first place I stopped at was Muscatine Maid-Rite! Do yourself a favor and listen to my recommendation. Anything but a 5-Star review is simply ridiculous. 5 STARS!!!

We hadn't had a Maid-Rite in two decades since moving out of Iowa and we decided to stop at this location in Muscatine, IA...OMG! It was amazing! This is THE location to get a Maid-Rite! They were juicy, moist, full of flavor and so delicious that we all ordered an extra one each! They were dripping with flavor! That's how good they were! Their onion rings and corn nugget thingies were excellent and the 1919 Root Beer is to die for GREAT. We loved it so much that we are planning a visit from the Detroit area to Iowa just to enjoy another meal (or two) at this specific location. The waitress was a darling...just GREAT and the food came up in the expected amount of time. 5 Stars!!!
